Temperature: Mild to warm temperatures. It can tolerate temperatures down to around -6°C for short periods, but prolonged exposure to frost can damage its fronds.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water at the base of the plant to avoid wetting the fronds, as this can increase the risk of fungal diseases.
Size: Typically grows to heights of 3 to 4.5 meters in cultivation, although in ideal conditions, it can reach heights of up to 9 meters or more. The fronds of are large and arching, with lengths typically ranging from 2 to 3 meters or more.
