Howea forsteriana
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Can tolerate lower light conditions, but growth may slow down, and the plant may become leggy in dim areas. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, which can scorch their leaves.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top 2.5-5 cm of soil to dry out before watering again.
Size: 9-12 meters in its native habitat, but it remains smaller when grown indoors. Fronds can be quite long, up to 3 meters in length.
Temperature: Between 18-24°C. They tolerate average indoor humidity levels but appreciate occasional misting or the use of a humidity tray during dry periods.
