Mango – Sensation
Fruit: Mango trees produce the highly prized mango fruit. The mango is a large, oval to round drupe with a single flat, oblong seed (or pit) inside. The fruit’s skin can vary in color from green to yellow, red, or orange, depending on the variety. The flesh of the mango is juicy and sweet, with a variety of flavors and textures among different mango cultivars.
Light: Plenty of sunlight for optimal fruit production.
Watering: Water your mango tree every 2-3 days after first planting it out and over a dry summer. Slow down the watering to once or twice per week as the tree establishes. Check the soil moisture and water the tree once or twice per week in summer slowing down to every 1-2 weeks in winter.
Height: Mango trees are large, evergreen trees that can grow to impressive heights, typically ranging from 9 to 30 meters when fully mature. The shape of the tree can vary from oval to round, with a dense canopy of leaves.
Temperature: Mango trees thrive in tropical and subtropical climates. They require a frost-free environment.
